My new songbook, The Emerald Hymnal, is finally out now!
I'm so happy with how this new book turned out! It's been six years since I released The Black Hymnal, and I never could've imagined writing a better one to continue the series. But here we are! lol.
I left a ton of unfinished songs on the cutting room floor too, so maybe that'll give me a headstart on the next songbook! ^_^

The Emerald Hymnal is a collection of passionate love songs, inspired by many different relationships. They form a song cycle akin to Dante's Purgatorio, reaching closer to Paradise with every song.
These songs deal with long-distance relationships, traveling to unknown worlds, intense rivalries, love triangles, retribution, closure, moving on from grief, falling in love again, and more. They were written over the course of 7 years (2017-2024).
The Emerald Hymnal has 33 songs total. It was published on December 1st, 2024.

The Black Hymnal is a collection of Gothic love songs. They are funereal, impressionistic snapshots of a forbidden relationship and all the themes that come with it – passion, deception, heartache, grief and loss. These songs were written over the course of 7 years.
The Black Hymnal has 34 songs total. It was published on August 1st, 2018.

I've been writing music since 2007. My style typically blends electronica, rock, and avant-garde music. My music is generally sombre and intense, but can also be relaxing and uplifting.
You can get my music on itch.io and bandcamp. My 13th album, Cupid, will be out sometime in 2025. Until then, here are some of my favorite releases!
Mirrors For Princes is my debut album. It blends electronica and orchestral elements with odd time signatures, tuplets and tempo changes. The music is timbrally inspired by early post-rock bands like Bark Psychosis and Talk Talk, imbued with the tone and vibe of Miles Davis' Second Quintet, and stylistically informed by Sade.
Naked is my first EP, from when I was 19 years old. It has some of my favorite early instrumentals. I wrote most of these with Ableton Live in 2010, when I first began feeling comfortable with my own erotic, esoteric style of music.
I write VG-style electronica music for my own games under the moniker “Icy-la-Belle”. There's a tetralogy of albums available here, as well as my early demos. The full catalogue extends from 2009 to 2022. There are currently 70+ tracks total!

I've been designing video games since 2004. I try to make games that are mathematically beautiful, and hopefully also appealing to the average player.
Enoch Never Dies is a horror game inspired by real events. It has a complex story that unfolds as you play as four different characters. This game explores themes of communication with the dead, haunted technology, and more.
Iridescent Crown is a 2d roguelike platformer. Explore an infinite variety of colorful dungeons and cave systems. New levels are randomly generated each time you play. The story is conveyed in a trilogy of unlockable poems.
Cosmic Zephyr DX is a hardcore third-person 3D bullet hell game. Players will fight 13 epic battles as they soar through outer space. The gameplay is engaging, dynamic and intensely challenging.

NanoTone Synth is a microtonal synthesizer and tuner. This is a useful tool for comparing the accuracy of different temperaments, and exploring unique harmonies.
Celody Life is generative music software. It uses cellular automata from Conway's Game of Life to generate chords and melodies.
