These are just various entries from my journal notes. I'm particularly fond of Sonic and Mario, but there are many other spectacular 2d games like Vectorman that don't get enough credit.
Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)
December 12th, 2016 - played Sonic 1 up to Labyrinth Zone! Played Mean Bean Machine. Beat Sonic 3D Blast!! Got to Death Egg in Sonic 2 with Knuckles! Then checked out the end with debug.
December 18th, 2016 - beat Sonic 1, played Sonic Chaos up to Aqua Planet!
Super Mario Bros 1-3
October 29th, 2017 - beat Super Mario Bros twice! (+hard mode) Reached Ultimate Race in Marble Madness! Reached World 8 in Super Mario Bros 3!
October 30th, 2017 - beat Super Mario Bros 3! Beat Bowser like 7 times.
November 23rd, 2017 - beat Super Mario Bros 2!!
Bubsy
November 25th, 2017 - I beat Bubsy!! Awesome bosses. "I win! I guess you helped."
Pokemon Yellow
March 6th, 2018 - started a new game of Pokemon Yellow!
March 21st, 2018 - beat Pokemon Yellow! defeated the Elite Four and my rival Arthur, inducted into the Pokemon Hall of Fame. Playtime 19:33. Caught Mewtwo in Cerulean City with an Ultra Ball. Played with cheats, got Mew, filled my Pokedex, got a diploma from the developers. Found the Power Plant.
Vectorman
August 30th, 2019 - beat Vectorman! Got 6 of the 7 extra balls, won with 7 lives.
September 26th, 2019 - beat Vectorman on Wicked mode!
Sonic 3 & Knuckles
December 31st, 2016 – spent the end of 2016 playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Got up to Launch Base Zone!
January 4th, 2017 - got up to Death Egg Zone with Sonic! Then got Super Sonic by Marble Garden. Then got a crazy glitched ending with a blue Knuckles and a cyan Sonic! Beat Doomsday Zone with Tails and Knuckles. Got glitched ending for Tails (time over). Also got the Sonic & Knuckles intro to appear? Crazy.
June 21st, 2018 - played Animal Crossing, saw the Cherry Blossom Festival! Played Sonic R, beat Super Sonic twice! Beat the final bosses in Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic 1, saw the credits! Beat S3&K's ending with Knuckles!
July 2nd, 2018 - beat Sonic 3 & Knuckles with Tails! Beat the final boss on the first try! Beat some level 7-9 CPU in melee!
November 9th, 2018 - beat Sonic 3 & Knuckles as Knuckles! Played Mean Bean Machine!
August 31st, 2019 - got all chaos and super emeralds in Sonic 3 & Knuckles as Tails!
September 1st, 2019 - beat Sonic 3 & Knuckles as Tails, then as Knuckles!
September 27th, 2019 - beat Sonic 3 & Knuckles with Hyper Sonic! Got 99 lives!!
October 21st, 2019 - Beat Sonic 3 up to Launch Base with Knuckles. Beat Big Arm!!
October 22nd, 2019 - beat Sonic 3 as Knuckles, played with debug codes! Got Blue Knuckles and Red Sonic glitches!! Beat the Doomsday Zone with Knuckles and got a glitched ending with Hyper Sonic and Hyper Knuckles!!
Sonic CD
October 7th, 2019 - explored my Minecraft server on the new computer! Played Sonic CD and Nidhogg.
October 28th, 2019 - beat Sonic CD as Sonic! Unlocked Tails!
October 29th, 2019 - beat Sonic CD as Tails! Unlocked DA Garden and Visual Mode from beating Time Attack!! Under 25 minutes!
