deoxy.org - deoxy has so many great, mind-expanding articles. this site was a huge influence to me growing up.
erowid.org - i love reading about other people's psychedelic experiences. it's much safer than taking the drugs yourself. i love stories about datura and DMT in particular.
sacred texts - a great resource for studying world religions or more esoteric subjects.
biblegateway - i highly recommend using an audiobook if you want to study the Bible. this is my preferred version.
For wordsmiths
poetryfoundation - a great resource for finding new and classic poetry.
gutenberg - access to tons of free, downloadable ebooks.
phrontistery - a quirky dictionary for learning obscure words and concepts. perfect for language lovers such as myself.
songmeanings - still the best place to read song lyrics and fan theories.
rhymer - i love this site. it's great for inspiration if you're a poet or songwriter.
Games & tools I recommend
JoyToKey - this allows you to hotkey your controllers easily with a PC. i often use a GameCube to USB converter for my setup.
Apophysis - open source software for generating fractals. this is still one of my favorite tools to play with.
Soldat - Soldat was made primarily by MichaĆ Marcinkowski, and is a beloved multiplayer game among fellow game developers.

Nature of reality:
New Thinking Allowed, hosted by Jeffrey Mishlove, is a mind-expanding array of interviews spanning psychical research, remote viewing, reincarnation, ESP and so much more.
ESOTERICA, hosted by Dr Justin Sledge, is a great resource for occult topics such as Kabbalah, Gnosticism, alchemy, etc.
Eric Dodson is a college professor with some great ruminations on life. I began to truly understand philosophers like Nietzsche through his lectures.
Best gaming channels:
GameHut, hosted by Jon Burton of Traveller's Tales, breaks down the programming secrets and early demos of classic games like Sonic R, Sonic 3D Blast, and others. His other channel Coding Secrets goes into more technical detail.
Summoning Salt explains the history of amazing speedrunning feats in video games.
Kruggsmash vividly narrates while playing Dwarf Fortress, making one of the most powerful sim games very accessible.
Sierra Chest is a wonderfully massive archive of footage of old games from Sierra Entertainment.
Best music/poetry channels:
Rick Beato is a great resource for learning music, and has some of the greatest interviews with famous musicians.
Make Pop Music, hosted by Austin Hull, provides a ton of expert musical advice for developing your craft.
Button Poetry is a collection of short, blunt and eloquent poetry slams. Some of my favorite performers include Gigi Bella, Ayanna Florence, and Hanif Abdurraqib.
